Dee’s professional focus is on delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions, expertly addressing conditions such as depression and various forms of anxiety. Over recent years, Dee’s primary specialty has been the management of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This specialisation enables Dee to offer targeted, effective therapeutic strategies tailored to the complexities of OCD.

As a therapist Dee’s fundamental aim is to guide clients on their path to recovery with utmost care, empathy, and understanding, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters resilience and growth.

OCD has been present in Dee’s family for generations, providing her with a profound personal connection to the disorder. Over the past 15 years, Dee has been closely involved in supporting both her brother and her daughter as they navigate the challenges associated with OCD. This ongoing experience has not only deepened her understanding but also strengthened her commitment to continuing this support.

Outside of Dee’s professional life, Dee enjoys engaging in activities that enhance her wellbeing and creativity. Dee has a passion for cooking, which allows her to experiment with new flavors and culinary techniques. Additionally, Dee finds solace and rejuvenation it is taking long walks, an activity that gives her time to reflect and connect with nature. Dressmaking is another hobby of Dee’s through which she can express her creativity and tailor unique garments, adding a personal touch to her wardrobe.
