As a fully qualified therapist with a specialization in OCD, my journey in this field is deeply personal. Diagnosed at six, I endured the challenges of OCD for over a decade, only finding effective treatment at the age of 20. This transformative experience fueled my passion for mental health and propelled me to pursue a career in therapy.

After studying Psychology in Bristol, I embarked on a path to become a qualified therapist, dedicating my career to understanding and treating OCD and related anxiety disorders. My university years were marked by a commitment to raising awareness about OCD, including media appearances and establishing pioneering support groups in Bristol. This work earned recognition for its innovative approach to mental health awareness and therapy.

In my ongoing efforts, I have engaged with various media outlets, contributing to documentaries and news articles, including NHS patient.info app, and have spoken at several Mental Health Conferences. These activities have strengthened my commitment to accurate representation and education about OCD.

In 2010, I co-founded The OCD Treatment Centre, aiming to create an organization of passionate and dedicated individuals, from therapists to administrative staff. Our goal is to help as many people as possible using the latest evidence-based treatments for OCD. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized services, equipping our clients with practical tools for managing OCD symptoms effectively.

Alongside my professional endeavors, I enjoy a range of activities including sports, gym, meditation, and travel. I have a keen interest in learning about diverse subjects and delight in exploring different cultures and cuisines.

My mission is to build an organization where every team member, regardless of their role, shares a dedication to helping individuals with OCD. Through this collective effort, we aim to provide hope and effective solutions to those we serve.
